@future.mrs.schechter: I’m pretty sure it’s Brevard. You can call and they’ll tell you for sure. I would say to get online, but I’ve never been able to find anything useful on a govt website. You can also call your venue and they’ll tel you.

I got married in a different county than I live in (in a state other than Florida).  We had to get our marriage license from the county we lived in.  However, I think it depends on the counties involved.  I would call the office that issues marriage licenses in the county you live in and ask what is appropriate.

I know here in MD, you have to get the license in the county or city you get married in, which is a pain in the caboose. I would just call the courthouse and ask them

Most places you have to get the marriage license in the place you are getting married in. Check with the officials though..
