I think it would be really cute, though to be blunt, I would want to make sure that wasn’t her only gift from me. She’ll probably be spending a lot of money and time being your Maid/Matron of Honor, so I wouldn’t want her to feel like I was giving her obligations as a gift or implying that being part of my wedding was a present. If you give her a “real” gift and then also give her the frame with a framed photo of the pair of you in it, it would be really sweet.

Personally, I would not intermingle her birthday and your wedding. If you want to give her the frame, give it to her a week or two after her birthday, and get her something that’s -for her- on her birthday.

I would think that as long as its not actually given as her gift it would still be fine to give it on her birthday.

@Camilicious:  I would get it for her for the wedding, like as a gift to give her that morning but I’d get her something else for her birthday.

Give her a different gift for her birthday and maybe give her the frame as an “early gift” the day before. You don’t want to be that bride that turns every event or get together as another excuse to talk about your wedding.

Give it to her, but not for her birthday. Thatd be akin to giving someone a photo of your child for Christmas… no, just no.

I agree it’s a cute idea, but shouldn’t be given as a birthday gift.
