This time last year (OMG, its been that long!!) Fiance (then defacto partner) and I went to Europe for a month and during that holiday we got engaged 🙂
Not a lot of family have seen our photos, though most have expressed a desire to. I was thinking a good way of showing them off would have a slideshow running in the background during dinner and inbetween the speeches. People can choose not to pay attention if they dont want to, but I thought it would be a good conversation starter and would give those who were interested a chance to see them
Do you think this is a good idea? There would be no music or sound with it, all it would do is run in the background (projected into the wall)

If you do it, I would do it on a digital picture frame say sitting on your gift table? This way people who want to see the pictures can stop and watch the pictures run through.
This is what we did for our wedding except we did pictures of us growing up and then meeting and our trips together. We had it on the gift table and it ran through out the reception/dance. This way if someone wanted to see the pictures they just had to stop by and watch for a bit. And it was not an interuption of anything else.

@Sassygrn: thats a good idea. Might even use FI’s computer screen as its larger and will show more detail. If its good enough to game on, its good enough to display pics! lol
