so, my nephew is 2 and he just so happens to be my second favorite person in the whole world, 1st being my future hubby. He is also the cutest little kid you will ever see, EVER! And, well… I think he needs to be plastered all over my wedding day activities. Any ideas on ways to include him other than by him being the ring bearer. Im not super close to my dad so I was thinking of having my nephew interupt the father/daughter dance after a minute or so and I could have a fun dance with him… thoughts, is that cute or rude? If I did that any ideas on a song I could play? Thanks!

I’m not sure about the cutting in on the father/daughter dance. Maybe you could have a separate, mini-dance with him, as one of the other special “men” in your life? I understand that you said you aren’t that close to your dad, but interrupting his dance seems not quite the best thing to do. But maybe I need more information on the situation. 🙂

I agree, I think having him cut into the father/daughter dance is kinda hurtful.
I would do a seperate dance with your nephew if you wanted to.
By The Way will your nephew be up to doing a dance though in front of everyone?

my other idea was to dance with my dad and then have it turn into a fun conga-line song and have my nephew come up and lead it and get the rest of the guests to join in– it would be a sneaky way to get the guests on the dance floor too! My nephew is NOT shy at all and very smart so I know he will be up for anything he thinks is fun.

(well im calling it that but it is a dance for all the kids! 🙂 Oh i am also going to have him pass out the programs…

I think the congo line is SUPER cute! Who can resist a cute little kid trying to get them to dance?

Ok.. I think I might try the transition to a conga line… I had the idea at his gymboree party last year because they gave all the kids maracas and did one… he LOVED those maracas!
