We’re working on picking a venue and working on a budget. We’re thinking of moving the date til Oct 2013 due to the date I wanted being booked. The venue we want is Starlight Meadow. If we pick just the venue itself and take care of everything else it will be $3200 on a Saturday and $2200 on a Sunday. If we choose this route, it will include two barns, gazebo, fire pit, bathrooms, chairs, tables, linens, dance floor, bridal changing area.
Then they offer three packages which include everything stated above with the venue plus food, flowers (10 centerpieces, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids, groomsmen), cake. The most expensive package is $4700 and includes apps, buffet, staffing, goblets, silver, napkins. The next one is $4500 and inclues apps, buffet, staffing, disposable paper goods. The next one is $4300. It includes buffet, staffing, disposable paper goods.
If we choose a package, we basically only have pay for my dress, music, gifts…and whatever other things Im missing.
The apps and buffet menu is awesome so Im not worried about having good food. The drinks included are lemonade, sweet and unsweet tea. We will not be having alcohol at the wedding. They gave me a list of cake flavors, fillings, etc so I get to design it but its included in the price.
Based on whats included…do you think its a better deal to book the package or just the venue and take care of the other stuff myself? I keep going back and forth!
