I love dogs, but this is a little much. How about a picture of your dog or even an ID tag on your boquet?

The dog won’t know or care; the guests will give it an eyeroll at best. So you do you, but not one else is really going to want to see or hear about it, IMO. I’d keep things personal and not public.

I love the cake topper idea but thats because we had a cake topper done that represents our basset hound and our three cats, cause lets face it those are our fur babies, what about the photo frams that you can hang oun your bouquet as an added touch ?

slemchuk :  we also wanted to include our fur babies without actually having them at the wedding itself! We ended up having our invitations hand drawn and included the pups with us on them. We will have a larger printout of our invitation on the entry table the day of. I have seen people incorporate their pets into their guestbook, welcome sign, and favors too! I love your idea of the cake topper though!

How about a COCOnut cocktail named after her? 🙂

My best friend and her Darling Husband are both really into dogs—they own two and he’s a vet. They couldn’t bring their pups to their destination wedding either, but they had these adorable table placecard holders: Plus they’re on sale! (I won’t tell my best friend…)

slemchuk :  I knew a couple that had a Destination Wedding in Hawaii so they obviously could not bring their dog – they had custom cookies made to look like him and included them in the dessert bar 🙂 Might be a little tacky for some, but they loved it
