We had our dog at our e-pic session this weekend! We brought someone to look after him though, because we didn’t want him in every picture!

And he’ll definitely be around the house the day of the wedding, and therefore involved in some of my “getting ready” shots. That’s about the extent of his involvement though 🙂

I’ve seen couples with their pets in e-pics and they were adorable!

I’m attending a wedding this summer in which the dog is the ring bearer. I’m sure this wouldn’t be allowed in a church, though.

My Fiance and I met at a dog park and our fur-babies are a big part of our lives. We are having a destination wedding at a vineyard at wine country, so having them included in the ceremony/reception was not an option.  (and like you, I doubt my little angels would behave).  So here’s what we did.  We included them in our e-pics.  We took our photos at a farm that was located next to a dog park.  We had a friend take them to the dog park while we took some pix by ourselves at the farm.  Once those were done, we moved to the dog park so we could get some pictures with the pups.  Here are a few of the shots.

I also made a custom stamp at zazzel with a photo of the doggies that I absolutely love.  We put that stamp on our envelopes for the invitations and response cards.

Lastly, in lieu of favors we are thinking of doing a donation to the humane society since we adopted our little girl from there.  On the “in lieu of favors” card we’ll probably have some cute pictures of the doggies.

We have a lil 4 lb yorkie that we wanted to include in the wedding but i dont think its going to happen. =-(  we were thinking of having our flower girl walk down with her but then we have no way of getting her back to a house (we are getting married outside in the garden at the reception hall).  WE did really want to include her. Shes our babys and we picked her out together!

I wish we could incorporate out babies, too (chihuahua, great dane, german shepherd) but alas, our would bark at the guests as they walk down the aisle lol.  I saw a wedding online where the bride and groom did a photo shoot of their dogs and used the pictures as the table numbers.  I thought it was super cute, but our dogs would never sit still for that so we use our engagement photos lol.
