Hi everyone, it’s me again; the indecisive soon-to-be engaged bride to be sometime in 2014 or 2015. -Sigh- After some serious thinking, I realized that BOTH of my choices for wedding dates (December 13th and July 13th in 2014) weren’t going to work for us (long story short). I was forced to re-evaluate a wedding date and have come up with the following two options: December 31st, 2014 (the day that my boyfriend moved to Michigan to live with me after being in a long distance relationship for a year) and June 13th, 2014 (which is Friday the 13th, the reason why I was considering this date (despite the superstition) is because of it being on a 13 which is my boyfriend and I’s Anniversary, we are out of school for the summer, and we could have an outdoor wedding without the weather being extremely hot and humid).
Although December 31st holds significance to us, I find myself leaning towards June 13th. I LOVE warm weather (and seriously loathe cold weather), my dream is to have an outdoor wedding, and we could go on our honeymoon right away, an option that wouldn’t be possible for us with December 31st due to the new semester of college starting on January 5th; we would have to postpone our honeymoon until spring break or the beginning of May. However, the “Friday the 13th” superstition is weighing on me. Goodness. Who knew choosing a date would be so hard? Or, is this just me? Lol
