I’m trying to decide on songs for my wedding. I have chosen a few but I am trying to decide on when each song should be played. I need a prelude, wedding party processional, bride processional, interlude and ressional. Here is a list of songs that I have chosen.
1. Moon River- Audrey Hepburn
2.Love Me Tender- Norah Jones
3.In My Life- The Beatles
4.I’ll Follow You Into The Dark- Deathcab For Cutie
5.Such Great Heights- Iron & Wine
6. Perfect Day- Lou Reed
7.Something Coming Over Me- OAR
8.Somewhere Over The Rainbow- Israel Kamakawiwo’ole

I LOVE this playlist so far…I’m just going to have to scroll through my iPod for some ideas for you. I do not know how slow or soft you want go but here’s a few.
And Then You – Greg Laswell
A Drop in the Ocean – Ron Pope
Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words) – Frank Sinatra (CLASSIC!)
I see what else I can find!!!

Yeah my Fiance and I are dancing to Fly Me to the Moon as our first dance. He wants to take classes and learn a simple foxtrot or something to surprise everyone. I’m a former dacer and he has 2 left feet!

Definitely some good choices. I’ve found a website with some great longer lists of potential indie wedding music that you might be able to use: http://www.discjockeynyc.com/indie_wedding_music/. In case you are still looking for a first dance song, I have a blog post with a short list with my favorite indie first dance ideas that you can check out here: [link removed].
Hope you find some more great tracks!

The day was perfect… I’m even making the entire bridal party CD’s of the music along with their thank you notes. 😀
