I need some help. My wedding is February 23rd which means that it is going to be pretty cold outside. At first the Mr. and I thought it would be fine to take our pics outside anyway but after some thought we both agreed that wasn’t happening! Anyways, we have be going crazy trying to figure out some indoor sites. Our wedding is taking place near Fairmount Park so we are looking into the Horticulture center. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

Hm..not sure but you could always get a pretty over thing and take some photos outside, espeically if you’ll be in the city. Some of the prettiest wedding photos I’ve seen have been winter shots (And I’m not just saying that because I’m planning on a Feb wedding!)

Off the top of my head. . . .
The Franklin Institute, the Free Library, 30th Street Station, The Union League, City Hall, the Art Museum (inside of course). Penn’s campus has some beautiful buildings. . .
I’m sure you’ll have to contact most of these places ahead of time to see whether they require payment/advance notice but there are plenty of options around the city!!

At 10th and South there’s The Magic Garden, though you have to pay to do pro photos there. There’s both indoor and outdoor space, so of course you could only use the indoor if you wanted. It’s basically an entire rowhouse and spare lot entirely taken over by a wild mosaic art project, it’s really gorgeous both inside and outside.
