- Wedding: April 2011
Initially, I was attracted to typical Monique Lhullier gowns (lots of lace, some sparkle, more classic silhouettes) and really liked how they fit my body. I thought I wanted a more vintage, classic look.
THEN I tried on this Ines Di Santo dress (pics attached) and thought it was just so original and dreamy. It is a way riskier look, definitely not as classic, but it is really fun to wear. I’ve been to 9 different bridal salons now, so I have seen a good cross section of what is available.
Do you think this dress is too “out there”? Or could it work for me? It will be worn in a Catholic wedding mass and then a reception at the Four Seasons Boston in April of next year.
