Wow. I’m amazed that some of these are prom dresses! They’re so bridal looking, this is a great resource and you’re a peach for posting it!!

Please stop posting all these beauties! I already have my dress but a few of these make me wanna go shopping again;) side note but I would never let my 16 year old future daughter wear half of these but that’s another post. Bit scandalous with the sheer backs and plunging necklines imo…

Those are so pretty. Here are a few more designers Terik Ediz, Tony Bowls and Tadashi Shoji

llussier:  I love you so much for posting this. The one Sherri hill you posted is at my local prom dress shop and I can’t wait to try it on!

Awesome choices you’ve posted. Thanks for sharing these ideas and listing the designer/prices. Some of these definitely do look more bridal than prom!

llussier:  seriously. My prom dress was off a clearance rack for $25 and I absolutely loved it!

i keep looking at that Sheri hill Swiss dot. I initially wanted the wtoo Penelope but ended up with A sweetheart Swiss dot from db. I love love love my dress but the Sherri is like the perfect cross between the two of them. Kinda wish I saw it before I bought my dress

I found my wedding dress on consignment for $420, otherwise I would have gone with a prom dress, as I think just having the word “wedding” attached to the dress jumps the price up. These are great, and I hope it helps a lot of people out!

llussier:  I think it all just depends on your style and the feel of the wedding. Being a second time around bride I would definitely go for a prom, pageant or bridesmaids dress as my gown to save money and have something that looks a little less bridal. <br />It’s really no different than some of the girls who compete in pageants with my daughters wearing wedding gowns on stage.

llussier:  My wedding dress was a prom gown from Sean Collection.
