All I want is a floor-length or sweep train, chiffon, probably A-line dress for my beach wedding in May 2014. I know I’ve got a while (a looong while) but I want to start looking and pricing things now. David’s Bridal has good prices for my budget, but I haven’t found a dress I love yet. I’ve found a bunch online at Impression too.
Does anyone else have any suggestions as to where I can get a good quality dress? I’m by no means expecting miracles, just something that’ll make FH tear up a bit.
And are any of those online sites actual, legitimate sites? Or are they all illegal Chinese knockoffs? (I already know about TB Dress… what a bummer that one was!)

I’ve really good things about dressilyme (could have gotten the spelling wrong!). Anyways, it is an online dress shop that makes knock-offs for reasonable prices. I really haven’t heard any complaints about them. Also, have you tried recycledbride.com? There is one pro shop on there that sells dresses for really good prices and she said that if you ask her for something in particular she can look around for you. Good Luck!

try finding preowned dresses, trunk shows, and sample sales.
oncewed.com and recycledbride.com (i think) offer preworned dresses
i’ve heard good things about dressilyme and jasmine bridal and landy bridal – you can try those as well!

I got my $2000 dress on craigslist for $350. It took MONTHS of searching but it was worth it.

I ordered mine from https://www.lightinthebox.com/. It’s a very simple dress, but I love it. It’s very well made and I can’t wait to wear it in 2 weeks.
