I have started the stressful part of wedding planning: Finding The Venue
I am looking at 75-100 guests, and trying to beat the price on the venue I currently have picked out: $2600
I’m looking for beautiful redwood or sequoia trees OR (because it’s going to be in October) foliage trees.
Most of my family lives in Modesto, but I’m willing to have the wedding closer to the ocean, or more north. Anywhere Central, Norther California.
I’m not too keen on the whole rustic look.
Either a Peter Pan themed wedding, or Fall/Halloween themed.
Can we beat the price of $2600 surrounded by trees?

Not sure if it will beat your price, but my friend got married at the Sequoia National Park last year and it was STUNNING. Definitely look into it if you havent already 🙂

2600 sounds like a steal! I don’t think you’re going to find many CA venues that can beat that price.

I figured, but thought I’d try. Seen some other places that were cheaper, but sadly, they had burnt down.
I will look into it! Thanks!!

- Wedding: October 2019 - City, State
Saratoga Springs in the Bay Area is gorgeous! Wedding spot says it’s $1,950-$5,950 – could be worth checking out

You can try Camp Meeker area. There’s a hall up in the redwoods. Other option for that time of year is get a permit to host it in the National Forest ($100) and do the whole thing outdoors. A lot of national parks have a ampethrater type set up which can seat lots of people and would look great decorated.
