Something to think about- ct is weight based- are you looking for a 2ct diamond? That will be a much different size then say a 2ct sapphire. I designed my best friend’s ring with her Fiance, she said ‘around 2cts’ but wanted a sapphire- well, the sapphire is 3.2 ct, and just smaller than a 2ct diamond oval.

I ordered a cheap oval ring on amazon prime to wear as a “fake” when on vacation or otherwise somewhere that I don’t want to wear my diamond. I found several that were under $20 and also delivered through Amazon prime (so free 2 day shipping). I *think* this is the one that I ordered – it says it’s “2.8 carats” but I look at the stone measurements since the carats don’t translate to diamonds. If this is the right one, it was very similar in size to my 1.6 carat diamond oval. Good luck!
