I am trying to plan a wedding with a 10,000 budgein the only thing not included in that budget is my dress which my grandmother is paying for. With that being said I am having a very hard time finding a reception/ceremony location that doesn’t charge outrageous amounts for rental of the venue or food and beverage minimums. We are very open to location anywhere in South Carolina, Georgia, or North Carolina is good. Our favorite setting is plantation or country chic. Any venue suggestions bees?

Do you want the ceremony and reception at the same location? How many guests are you planning? What kind of venue are you hoping for – urban, rural, religious, etc? What’s the most you want to spend for the venue by itself? I would love to help. I just don’t know what direction to start in.

I went to a wedding in Upstate South Carolina last year that was really lovely. I know the couple did not spend anywhere close to 10k. It was really pretty and very country…they didn’t have a lot of decor but you could really do a lot with the space.

My budget is similar but I’m having 33 people max (including us) at my wedding. If you are having a small wedding, I would be more than happy to help 🙂

I got married at the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC. We were very happy with the price and the service we received. There are no food or beverage minimums. Our budget was $10,000 and we had 90 guests.

We are having about 50-65 guests and would libe ceremony and reception to be at the same location. We are both very into the plantation/rustic feel and would like to keep the venue and food fees under 3,000-3,500

Are you willing to not do it on a Fri/Sat? We had the same amount of people and there were very limited options if you want to do it on a Fri/Sat for under 3500. I would definitely look into McCradys.
