I am a recent college graduate with a very small wedding budget. I am looking to spend around $8000 on my wedding so I need to find a venue that offers meals at $30-$35 per person. I am only inviting between 75-80 people so it should be a pretty intimate event. Ideally, I am looking to get married anywhere between Ventura and Long Beach. Most of my family is in Lancaster, so I am trying not to have it too far north or south. I would really like a rustic wedding, so any location with trees or gardens would be great. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I know someone mentioned their Camarillo Ranch House wedding being around $13k. I’m not familiar with their pricing, but a few other locations with trees/gardens are Limoneira Ranch, Maravilla Gardens, and Hartley Botanica. Remember if your wedding will extend after dark you will need lighting at most outdoor venues, which will increase the cost quite a bit.

I would consider doing the Vegas thing from there. Let the folks who want to come make it a weekend. Look at the Bonnie Ranch- their chapel is awesome-http://www.bonniesprings.com/photo-gallery.html?galAlbum=4
They are very accomodating for activities, and meals.

Tropical Paradise is my venue and you can bring in your own catering.g

You may want to check out Rancho de Cielo in Malibu. It’s set on a hill overlooking the ocean and I believe you can bring in your own catering company.

You can try The French Estate in Orange, Ca and The George Key Ranch in Placentia, Ca. Might be a little farther South than you’re looking but the prices are great.
