I’m so sorry that happened to you! I’m in Canada and I was also shocked to learn how long it takes to order in a dress. Is there a chance if she can’t change the size that you can buy a used dress and sell the new one later on?

Oh no! I agree that it’s ridiculous how expensive wedding dresses are and how long they take to make, so I bought a discounted sample. I think the dress can be taken in with 2 weeks to go though, maybe contact a seamstress now to double check? The alterations themselves don’t take that long, but people usually have to wait because there’s a long list of other brides in front of them. Perhaps if you contact a seamstress now they can reserve their time for you.

Some chinese knock-offs only take a month or two and cost a lot less- there’s plenty of reviews/ testimonials on weddingbee as well.
