@anev:  Thanks :). I’m inclined to agree with this approach. I hadn’t heard that about the grading aspect, so that is helpful to know.

@anev:  Thank you! I’ll be sure to post an update when I get back home. I’m excited but also in disbelief that our transfer is finally happening tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll be able to sleep tonight! It’s not too early thankfully – 10:15am. Plenty of time to do some much needed grooming downstairs in the morning (LOL).

Called my clinic today because it’s CD23 and no sign of ovulation. It’s now been over a week since my follicles stalled at 14mm. The doctor had said to “just wait” for AF but I mean come on. I’ve resolved to be more proactive and less passive about my treatment. I go for a scan and bloodwork Wednesday morning, and I’m telling myself that I will not leave that appointment without an actual plan that consists of something more than “just wait.”

@KittyYogi:  to answer your question re: the clinic I chose… I have three friends who have been through infertility and who used this same clinic I am at now. All three of my friends have 2 children (so 6 in total) beautiful children from IVF. Since they had good recommendations that’s how I chose the one I am at now.

@anev:  and thank you for the encouragement. It looks like I am just going in for a check that I ovulated CD21 and then they want me on Estrace until AF then start Lupron microdose on second day of cycle, then introduce other meds on the third day. I had a great talk with my RE this morning and I feel pretty good about moving forward with second retrieval. She said the timeline looks like I will have the ER on July 18-20th depending on what day my cycle starts.

@Cheekie0077:  Thank you so much! I am officially PUPO! The transfer went smoothly, aside from my husband being a nervous wreck and needing to sit down! The doctor said our embryo looked perfect and it was already hatching! Now we relax and wait.

Also, I decided that I hate Endometrin and would rather get poked every day so I’m switching to daily PIO. That means two shots today so we can also switch to evenings. Pray for my backside! lol

@ladyvictoria:  I am a lurker of the board now as my IVF babies are now 9 months old.  BUT I just wanted to pop in and say congrats!!!!  That is a beautiful embryo!  I should know, I paint them so I have seen a lot of them hahahaha.  Congrats again!  Hoping for a healthy and happy 9 months 🙂

@zstbee84:  Thanks so much! I was so stressed out because my husband couldn’t sleep last night so he woke up late and took forever to get ready while I was ready to walk out the door. But we managed to get there on time and I calmed down some. I don’t know if the valium ever kicked in or what since I felt normal the whole time and still do. It’s so unreal to think that there’s actually a little embryo in there now for the first time ever!

@KittyYogi:  Thank you, love! And I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having a rough time choosing. I know you don’t have insurance coverage, but our insurance has a Center of Excellence program and I get maximum coverage at providers with that designation. Our of our two local IVF centers, only one had that designation so it was a clear choice for us. Perhaps you could see if any of the centers you’re considering have that designation? That might help you choose one over the rest.
