@JaneyD: Yea, true. I guess the numbers were so similar to everything I’ve heard over the last year that I didn’t feel the need to check, but you are right in that one shouldn’t just believe anything they read.  But I’ve heard countless times that the two days before Ovulation Day are your best chance, and the 3-4 days before you have a chance as well. Those numbers match that, so I just believed the study. πŸ™‚

@Jenn23: Good to know!  I wonder why that’s true?  Do people miss-time ovulation?  Or does it really just not work as well?  5% seems super low!  And I’m freaking out because DH was only in town O-Day and the day after this month : (

@heathaah: I want the link to your blog also!!!

I’ve been a little out of the loop on here girls.  It has just been a blah couple of weeks and haven’t been on here as much, so I’ve missed a few things!  But wanted to wish everyone good luck on whichever stage they are in!!  AF did finally show up last week and lasted 5 days, nothing heavy, but super excited she showed up on her own!!  Things have just been stressful lately with our house still not selling and money getting tight!!  I really ready for some really good news…..Hope this is the month for one of us:)

@JaneyD: Sperm takes awhile to get to the egg and the egg only lives about 12-24 hours. So the two days before ovulation are your best shot at getting pregnant. O Day can be too late because by the time the sperm reach the egg, the egg may not be there anymore! Now, if you BD in the morning and ovulate that night, then that would be good. But if you ovulated in the morning and BD later that night, it could be too late. I’ve heard that ovulation day definitely produces many babies, but the day after ovulation is generally too late from all I’ve read and heard from my doctor. πŸ™

@Rosie Girl: haha! Dinner dances all around!! hehe

Tip # 3. To get pregnant faster have sex before ovulation (not after).

Sometimes couples get confused about the best time to have sex in relationship to ovulation. You have a small window of time each month to get pregnant. After a woman ovulates the egg will survive approximately 24 hours. Sperm, on the other hand, will live for up to three to five days. This is why having sex two to three days before ovulation will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Don’t wait until the day you ovulate to have sex. Your partner’s sperm will last longer than your egg and you don’t want to miss an opportunity by waiting.

@Rosie Girl:  Your symptoms sound promising for me!  πŸ™‚  I need you to analyze the cramping I am having right now…does it feel like cramps or am I constipated??

Other people who read this must think we are all crazy!

@heathaah: Oh, I’m sure other people think we are nuts for analyzing all our symptoms. But anybody in our shoes would act like we do, right? I think we are all totally normal. πŸ™‚

@heathaah: Good luck with your TWW.

I think my TWW is coming to a close and not for the better. AF symptoms coming on. Kind of depressed.

@stormy9973: Glad AF showed on her own! Sorry things are still stressful – hope everything falls into place soon.

@sacbride10: Sorry for AF symptoms – hopefully it’s just a trick and they go away soon!

So I had a teeny tiny bit more spotting last night/this morning.  Too Much Information: I really just noticed it on the applicator for the progesterone, nothing ‘came out’.  Weird thing is that it was like an orangey color.  Bleh, it’s probably just AF trying to bust through the progesterone, but all my cramps are gone this week…so confusing.  At least tomorrow morning I’ll know for sure.  Think I’ll go for a run at the gym and watch bad daytime tv to get my mind off things πŸ™‚

@heathaah: Glad you didn’t have to go into detail about your Corpus Luteum to your brother. Only a woman TTC with infertility would say those words. Smile I want the link to your blog!!!

@sweetkate: Wow, so sorry you had to go through that with your friends.

@MerryC: good luck!!! fingers crossed for you!!!

took the day off from work and had a good fun day.  Currently sipping a candy apple martini. πŸ™‚  I got to play with my 5 month old twin nephews!!!  SOOOO much fun!!!  I really really want one of my own πŸ™

I’ve been good and have been taking my vitamins!  As for iron, I can’t take ANY supplement with iron without having a problem with it immediatly or after two days of taking it.
