@Jenn23:  ((Hugs)) I know it’s scary, but there is some hope “In many early pregnancies, the hCG level will double every 31 to 72 hours. As the pregnancy progresses, hCG levels rise and the doubling time increases.” I’m sending you a dump truck of sticky baby dust!!

@bunny:  If your OB is willing to work with you, then stay there until you have to. I also had the same problem of not knowing where I was in my cycle. At one point I had AF for 60 days. If I remember correctly, once they got me to stop bleeding, we waited until my next AF then they monitored me and when the follicle was large enough, they triggered me with Ovidrel then had me use Prometrium suppositories. Does your OB have the ultrasound ability to monitor you? If so, then ask him/her to check the size of your follicles and whether they are growing or shrinking. If your OB doesn’t have the ability to monitor, you may have to do a round of BCP or go to an RE. Have you looked into Chinese Herbs to help you?

@bunny:  My RE does Femara 5 mg for 7 days CD 3-10. At Day 11, you go back in for u/s and b/w. depending on your numbers (im not sure what), you can take it longer. Last cycle, I had to take it for 2 more days, so for 9 days on femara total.

I’m going to be taking a couple months off. DH and I have been arguing a lot lately (especially after not being able to do the IUI last week). We need to focus on our marriage for now. My DH thinks it will happen naturally (even though it hasnt in 2 years). I think I’ve convinced him to start some counseling for it. I’m angry with him (I know this sounds irrational) for having a low sperm count and some sperm morphology and motility issues. The only thing I ever wanted was to find a husband, and have like lots of babies. My mom was one of 12, and my dad was one of 10. I always wanted 5 or 6 kids, and I’m coming to the conclusion that its not going to happen. Blah.

Well this cycle of IVF failed. Beta is tomorrow, but steady BFN. I should have called in today, all I want to do is just lay in a ball in bed. Doesn’t help matters everyone around me seems to be having success. I was supposed to do a newborn photoshoot this weekend for a dear friend and I backed out. Jealousy has me missing out on a friend’s happiness, I am offically an azzhole.

@missmegan11:  I hope 2 months off will do both of you a lot of good.  This process is so stressful!  Hopefully you guys can get on the same page by the end of it…

I’m also having trouble seeing posts…time for number 12.

@missmegan11:  Thanks for the Femara info! I know it’s hard, but try not to be upset with your husband. The best gift my husband has given me during our TTC struggles has been to tell me that I am not broken, in spite of it being my body that is preventing us from conceiving right now. I don’t know if he really feels this way, but he always tells me that he chose me for me, not for my ability to carry our children and that no matter what, we will be parents someday, whether we do end up having bio kids or decide to adopt. If you are fighting, I would def. consider the counseling for both of you. Also is he doing any meds, himself? I know some doctors will prescribe clomid to men with low sperm count. It seems to help, a bit.

@mixtapehearts:  You’re not a jerk. You are a human being and it is totally normal to feel the way you are feeling right now. Oh hon, I am so sorry that you’re getting BFNs. 🙁 How many DPT or equivalent DPO are you? Is it possible that it’s still too early?
