I’ve spent too much money on kindle books, so hope we can reinvigorate this thread!  I’m new to the infertility journey and love these boards for support and information.   For those going thru the IF journey, I find myself just taking it step by step, appointment by appointment. . .as much as I want to think about the next 3 months its more like next week, next step, treatment , etc.   Is it the same for you all?

@StevieJo:  Welcome to the boards!  Everyone is super nice here and always amazing encouragement.

What obstacles does Turner’s Syndrome entail?

Well fertility wise it causes premature ovarian failure so if my ovaries have completely given up my options will be ivf with an egg donor or adoption. And if I and when I am pregnant I will have to be monitored very closely as turners can cause heart problems so I will need to be screened before doing ivf and monitored to make sure my heart is coping ok with the extra strain

@mareundarum:  Hi!  How did your transfer go??  I hope all well.  We might be nearly cycle twins — I had my frozen transfer (6 day blast) on Monday.  FX for you.  I think many people moved over to the 1 year+ boards, though feel like there is still a role for this infertility thread for those who know they are infertile yet haven’t hit 6 months or 1 year (which is the position I was in for a while!)

Nice to see people posting here.  I too hope you will join us over at the 1+ board.  We learned we have severe male factor issues before we were even thinking of TTC, so we knew that we weren’t really actually “trying” unless the big guns were out.  Despite that, I was still welcomed at the 1+ board, which I joined figuring they’d have more experience with the high tech stuff.  There was also an IUI/IVF support thread for a while, but it looks like a bunch of ladies got BFPs (yay!), and then a bunch of the other ladies headed to the 1+ board.
