(will also place in paper since it is a paper etiquette question)
So I was looking over my invites knowing I wanted to include the weddning website, hotel info, and a map.
What I’m not sure about is whether or not it is ok to place the info on the back of the invite since we’re having them custom printed and it would be blank anyways. The invites will most likely be printed on cotton paper and both pieces tied together with yellow divine twine and a moo mini card of us with the website on the back. If you flipped the invite over and saw text and map would you think “Ooo more info!” or “Why isn’t this on a separate card?”
Also any suggestions for the invites?

I think it should go on a different card only because I bet most people wouldnt flip it over and would miss it completely.

Seems your vibe is pretty casual so I say go for it! Why add extra “weight” to your envelope if you don’t need to?
So yes, I’d look at the back and be like, “Oooh more info!” 🙂
Also you will save paper if you are a green-friendly couple!

I’d be worried that people wouldn’t bother to check the other side.

The thing I’m concerned with is that youre mailing back the informational part, correct? I save the invitation so that I can see what time and where I need to be, and put it front and center on the fridge. If I mail it back as my RSVP, I can GUARANTEE I’ll be calling you the day of to try to figure out where I”m going. And you don’t want that.

To answer some concerns, the map will go on the back of the invite, not the response card. Also, the response card is going behind the invite so while getting it out from the twine I’m sure people will see the back of the invite 🙂

I agree with wannbe-diy-bride.
By The Way, your invites are cute!

I think you should include “please turn over, for more info” – or something like that but better worded!
We did a 2-sided RSVP – one with the normal info and one with a fun side. I thought there was no way people wouldn’t notice the back – but, I’d say 50% saw the other side and 50% didn’t know about it.
ETA: I’d normally flip all paper over, as a recipient – but, I’m crazy like that 🙂

I never flip wedding invites over. The info on the back would be totally lost on me.

Like PPs I probably wouldn’t notice anything on the back. Well unless maybe if my clumsy self dropped it and it happened to flip over.
