WOW those are some amazing rings!! you are so lucky to have some of her wonderful treasures. I covet my grandmothers rings, they are amazing vintage rings with a miner cut diamond. my aunt wont pass them down, and she isn’t planning on getting married any time soon.  i want them sooo bad lol!

Awesome rings everyone!!  I ended up with FMIL’s stuff when she died recently.  None of her siblings have kids and her two are both boys (FI and his twin).  I feel so special that they are trusting me with it all.  I have a ton of their old family stuff.  I hope we have a daugter that I can pass it onto someday.  In the meantime, I resized a couple of the rings (not the really old/meaningful ones) and I’m definately enjoying them.  I’ll have to get pics sometime.

I’m sorry for your loss but happy that you can carry on your grandmother’s legacy of love and rock her rocks. Which ring was your own marital bling?

Here’s a pic of my w-band, which my mom gave to me on her deathbed, which makes it the most precious heirloom (but also the most difficult for me to wear) of all her sparklies that I have. I love this heirloom. I even switched/upgraded my original e-ring (my v.2.0 is also pictured here) because of the w-band’s substantial width (that I had thinned a bit last year).

bumbleboozed:  Wow, OP! Your grandma had great taste!

Here is a ring I inherited from my grandma. I don’t know if it’s all that old though! (Thinking 80’s era?) My aunt had actually received it as a gift and then regifted it to her. (So two precious women in my life actually owned it, which is pretty neat!)

My fiancé proposed to me with his great grandmothers engagement ring. Old mine cut diamond from late 1800s.

Here is one of the rings I got from Future Mother-In-Law.  I love it!
