Apparently legit dressmakers have just gotten an injunction against Chinese dress counterfeiting sites. So if you order from one of these sites you risk having your dress confiscated by Customs. Another reason not to buy a knock-off.

There’s a difference between a counterfeit and a slightly different design. This is unlikely to slow the factories down too much because all they have to do is make slight alterations to the design for it to be considered a different dress. The biggest problem they have is posting designer stock photos on their sites.

Right, they are going to have to stop using the designers stock photos and names. And some of them will have their payment acceptance methods (i.e. PayPal) frozen.
