I’ve heard great things about insanity, and finally decided to give it a try. I just did day 2, and I feel so tired, but so good. I was just wondering what kind of results people found they had, in terms of fitness, tonedness, etc. i’m specifically looking to boost my overall energy levels, increase my cardio, and tone up my thighs and core and want to know if those are results I can expect through this program. They also have ads that run at the beginning/end of their workouts and now I’m wondering if TurboFire or Hip Hop Abs, or a mix of the 2/3 might be a better fit for me. Thoughts?

I just finished my first 60 days of insanity two weeks ago and started from the beginning again today!
I definitely got stronger but I didn’t see a huge difference in my body and there’s only one reason for that….my diet was AWFUL! This time around there will be no more trips to fast food chains at lunch! I don’t have any weight to loose I just need to tone up! Also you will want to eat more than you are use to, but healthy foods obviously. You will burn a lot of calories doing insanity but your body will just store fat if you aren’t eating enough. Another mistake of mine when I was eating right the first month I was only eating 1200 calories a day. My body went into starvation mode because I was probably burning 600 plus calories with the workout!
Insanity is tough even worse in month two but it goes by so fast! Good luck with it!

I’m nearly done with week 5 about to start month 2. I haven’t had major changes with weight as in numbers, but I feel so much better about myself. I’m stronger, have more endurance. People have started to notice something different with me. I can tell mostly in my face and arms.
After I finish I plan on doing P90X. I think I need some weight lifting added into my workout.

I’m in the middle of week 5 now. My most recent weigh in includes me down 7 pounds and down 6 inches total. Though I haven’t noticed it in a way that I want, my Fiance def notices and my looser clothing = confidence boost.
As other PPs mentioned, the DIET is SUPER important. We’ve fallen off the wagon a few times with our busy schedules, but we’ve really made it a point to have 5 smaller, nutrition packed meals a day. I think it makes a huge difference. I even contacted our beach body coach for some free samples of Shakeology. At this point, I’m still iffy but they do have an awesome money back guarantee.

How’s it going for everyone? Thought I would check in as I’m on the last week. I got sick the previous week so I did miss quite a bit of workouts.
I haven’t weighed in for a while, but by week 7 had lost 4lbs total. My butt and thighs haven’t changed much, but my waistline has definitely improved and my arms look nice.
I haven’t felt this great about my body in years!
Hope you all are getting awesome results!
