(Closed) Insanity – anyone else doing it???

I haven’t, but my brother started in about 2 weeks ago. Alas he fell off the bandwagon after about a week, but he lost 3 pounds in that time. Kudos to you for starting and know it will payoff in the long run!

Me and a friend are planning to start Monday actually. I’ve done it halway through once before, and had decent results. I’ve heard the biggest change is the second half though.

I did insanity for a month and what can I say? 

It is really tough and it gets a little bit monotonous in the middle, but I can tell you that I got great results from only that month of hard work. your muscles get super toned and you feel like you can run for hours. 

now that I’m engaged, I will do it over again probably starting next month. 

it is very tough but its an exellent program.

@futuremrsk18:  i just re-started today…..I got 2 days in 2 weeks ago and then life got busy blah blah blah.  I didn’t re-do the fit test so I started wtih the first day of Plyo Cardio.

It IS hard…..the warm up already has me huffing and sweating….but I think the results (both physical and pyschological) will be worth it!

Come on! We’ll suffer through together! 🙂

I did it! We finished it about a month ago. I didn’t lose a TON of weight, but I toned up a LOT and went down a size. I have arm muscles now I’ve never had!

And I love Shaun T!!

And hate Tonya! haha

i just finished month 2 week 1!  Month 2 is soooooooo hard blahhhh. Every day this week I wanted to quit…but then i look at my GIANT wall poster and i see all the days that I successfully finished crossed out and I can’t give it up after seeing how much i already accomplished (my boyfriend used the printer at work to make me a ginormous insanity workout calendar poster). plus, my boyfriend was originally supposed to buy me jewelry if i finish, but then he bought me an expensive motorcycle helmet so he wasn’t going to anymore.  but now he’s saying that jewelry is still a possibility! : ]  (i think he’s pretty impressed with me).

 

But for all you wondering if you should do insanity…i just finished week 1 of the second month…and i don’t normally brag…but my body looks AWESOME. AWESOME. The best it ever was.  I was moderately thin when i started and wanted to do insanity to tone up…and it has definitely worked! I have ABS! It’s awesome :]

 

So, keep track of everything you do…weigh yourself, measure yourself (seriously…measuring is important because i have actually gained like three pounds but my waist and hips are smaller), drink TONS of water (you’ll need it), do the nutrition plan even though it sucks (my results were way better when i caved and started to follow through with the nutrition plan…and i had more energy too).  Oh, and print out that workout calendar and hang it on your wall and hold yourself accountable! 

 

You guys can do it!  (I get to rest tomorrow yayyyyy!)

I’m doing Chalean Extreme after two rounds of P90X. I freaking loooooove Chalean Extreme. FH is doing Insanity, it looks TOUGH!
