Given that we’re a bunch of get-fit ladies, let’s open up an Insanity thread! So far we have:
squeak (2/1 fingers crossed my cold goes away by then!)
Who else is doing it? Let’s keep a tab, post weekly updates, and encourage each other!

Oops… I posted this on the other thread, but I wanna join! I started Insanity last night (1/31)… I’m hoping to tone up before the wedding, and as a former collegiate athlete, just generally get back into good athletic shape!

I started it on 1/30 and I am loving it (well, hating it, really, but you know what I mean)! I made a blog to ensure I keep myself accountable:

Alright guys, how’s everyone doing?

I just bought the discs and am planning on starting next week! 🙂 I’ve done part of P90X, so I have an idea of the “insanity” but I’m hoping I can keep up

Ok people, bumping this back up! I’ve seen a bunch of people in other threads say they’re doing Insanity, but there are only 5 replies to this thread!
How’s everyone doing? I just finished the 2nd workout of the 2nd month. Should be on week 2 by now but I was pretty sick last week.
I totally feel like I’m starting all over again…I can hardly do any of the moves on the MAX dvd’s!

I fell off the bandwagon… 😛 but I’m starting again, first with some other workout DVDs just to get back into it… then I’ll be jumping back into insanity probably around June/July, after the whole graduation/family party shenanigans are over. How are y’all doing?

Just bought mine online today!

My dad and I are going to start doing it in June. My mom does it now, she is military, super healthy, and athletic, but is still struggling with it. So I’m super freaked out about it!

I’m on Month 2 week 3….I was pretty in good shape, or so I thought before I started this. Before Insanity I did tons of cardio and stayed pretty thin. This has been one of the hardest workouts I have ever done. Up to this point i’ve been doing pretty well. I got walking pneumonia on week 2 but I refused to stop…It is definitly worth it! I have not lost any weight and actually gained 1.5lbs which has been tough because I’ve always been scale obsessed. I think that is from muscle because before this I had no muscle. I am super toned now, a flat stomach with a hint of muscle underneath, and my body has just really changed a lot…for the better. This is probably the hardest week for me, my body is worn out and it is taking all of my effort to turn on the DVD every day and get through the work out. But i’m determined to finish it!
