I couldn’t imagine doing Insanity every day. It’s too, well, insane. I found myself looking forward to P90X. I did a hybrid- P90X weights, but rather than do their cardio, I did the Insanity. I’ve read recently that weight training is really important for weight loss. And if you have that much weight to lose, Insanity will kill your knees. I will echo everyone above that stresses diet changes. I already ate healthy, whole foods (most the time), and don’t eat red meat or dink soda. So I didn’t change my diet, thinking working out would take care of the 10 lbs I wanted to lose. It didn’t happen. Rather, I gained weight. Then I started with Shaun T’s 6 day slimdown, and the weight started falling off. Oh, and I like Tony Horton. Shaun T is just lovely, but I can’t STAND Tonia. Strangely, what made the weight come off the fastest was walking 4 miles at lunch M-F. I was amazed that something so much easier than Insanity would work so much better.
