So I had my second fitting a few weeks ago and wore my shoes to have my hem cut. Just standing there for 30 minutes and my feet ACHED. So I went and found some cushioning insoles. I just thought of this, will the insoles change my height enough that it will be noticable with my dress on? I am sure I am worrying over nothing but if I have to I will just not wear them and grin through the pain!

I’d try to see if you could fine more comfortable shoes that match the height.. or at least some flats to change into when your pics are all done and it’s time to dance. You don’t want to not fully enjoy the day because your feet hurt.

If the insoles make the shoes comfortable enough, then use them. I doubt they would change the height enough to worry about it. Most insoles are quite thin to start with, then are squished down even more when you stand on them.

julies1949 : Yes, the insoles make the shoes super comfy! Thanks for reassuring me. I am getting very close to my wedding, the stress and worrying is real!

hunting_bride : I don’t think the 4-5mm of your insoles is going to make a difference – stop worrying! 🙂
