I’m awake and starving. I’ve been battling insomnia on and off since July. Yuck. I woke up this morning at 4:30 with a stomach bug and didn’t eat anything until dinner time. AND NOW I’M WIDE AWAKE AND SUPER HUNGRY. I guess it’s good that my hunger is back…hopefully means I’m on the mend. But eating this late will trash my weightloss plan…although I did probably lose some pounds today, although it wasn’t pleasant.
To snack or not to snack?

Got a V8 or protien shakes? Those will make you feel full and if you do get tummy issues it wont be as bad, and if they stay down all those vits you’re missing from being sick will start being replenished again.

@notbridey: If you’ve been throwing up all day, I doubt a snack now is even going to get you into the “minimally calorie deficient” range. I say snack away, but keep it easy on the tummy and healthy. Apple and peanutbutter kinda thing.

unfortunately no to both of those. I managed to keep down chicken lentil soup for dinner! 🙂
I just have that sore feeling left. So I know I should go easy on the ol’ GI tract…I want something salty.

Thats too bad. I’ve been dealing with insomnia since about July too. I end up going to the gym if I’m still up to try and calm down. In your case I’d say that if you want something salty the broth from Ramen soup would probably do the trick nicely if you have some.
I have a stock pile somewhere for when I’m feeling lousy.
