For a month of beauty related things? Do you get blowouts, massages, whatever. For me, it’s approximately
Hair-150 a month
No chips-60 a month
Pedicures-50 a month (although, I cut down to once a month during the winter)
Lashes-125 a month
Brow Tint-60 a month
Facial-50 a month
That’s about how much it costs to maintain all this. 😝On the plus side, I don’t need to spend much on makeup cause of all this other treatment. Lbvs. What about you?

Wow. I occasionally buy a new lipstick so like $5 a month? I don’t get my hair cut often but maybe divided out that would add $10 a month.

Hmmm…..it’s like $60 dollars to cut my hair every two months. And I get my eyebrows plucked or waxed every two months too, so that’s $20. I haven’t gotten a pedicure or a manicure since March, but I’m getting that done the day before the wedding.

I don’t really do any of that stuff. I do buy expensive makeup and skincare, but it’s not really a monthly expense, more “as needed”. I wax my own eyebrows, do my own nails, dye my own hair, etc.
Depending on the month and what I need, I could spend as little as $20 or as much as $200.

Maintain me the way I look now or maintain me the way I aspire to look? lol
Current: deodorant, toothpaste & Taco Bell
Aspiring to: Hair that’s not always stuck in a ponytail, something approaching an actual skin care routine, an upgrade from home mani-pedi to spa mani-pedi, getting back into the habit of wearing make-up on a daily basis after a summer of outdoor sports and slacking and maybe expanding my non-work wardrobe beyond yoga pants and tank tops.

Hair cut once every 6 months, so works out to $10/month.
Brow/lip threading maybe every 6 weeks, technically works out to $11/month
I used to get a massage monthly, but benefits fully covered it, but would be $90/month
Brazilian/lower leg/underarm wax every 2 months, works out to $75/month

kimmacph : What a great price for lashes! You can go 6 weeks without a fill? I wish. How do you maintain them so well?

I get my teeth cleaned every 4 months, so I guess 150$/ a session, so that’s but about $35/month
$5 a month for lip balm
$10 a month for hair masks/ oils
so that’s a total of about $50 a month.
I like mud racing and quadding, so that’s where most of my money goes 😂

zoraneale : I get my hair cut ($85) about every eight to ten weeks. Nothing else. Well, I use Vaseline for lip balm.

zoraneale : Yeah there are a TON of places in town that do lashes so it’s pretty competetive. It is $90 for a whole set or $60 for the fill.
And I think that they last just because I very rarely where makeup. At all. I work in a remote mining camp where if I wore makeup I would really stand out. Other then that just the standard no oils, brush them out, etc.

I get a $50 haircut twice a year and spend maybe $100 a year on random beauty things like wax, face masks, makeup, etc. So I guess it works out to $16 a month.
