Oh man I hadn’t even thought of this until I read another thread here…
My boyfriend and I work at the same company. I’ve been here since October 2011; he joined in May 2012. Assuming he proposes this year (which I”m 99.9% sure he will cus I’m part of the ring shopping process), we are planning to get married in October 2013…
Does this mean I’m going to have to invite coworkers/bosses?

@inky_1: In a word – yes. BUT you don’t have to invite everyone.
I met my fiance at work (we work in different departments) and we’ve been working at the same company and dating for years, so I’m in a similar situation to yours. Honestly, when we got engaged everyone was very excited and eager to hear about it, but it died down after a few weeks. I think that now most of our co-workers don’t even know when the wedding actually is, and we’re trying to keep it that way.
Our company is about 200 people and we are only inviting our direct bosses (who probably won’t come) and our couple of co-workers that we socialize with outside of work who we would have invited anyway! So don’t sweat it 🙂

Invite the coworkers that you may have become close friends with, and may spend time outside of work together. Choose people that have followed your relationship for awhile. Other than that, people should undertand. Because he is new there also, I don’t believe it requires a coporate invite.
