Gotta love the cheap fun and funky!  I’m sorry you feel like a thread killer (I just had to post on your thread even though I’m so removed from planning brain right now)!

I would say lately brooch bouquets and the general use of brooches as well as cupcakes instead of cake have inspired me the most.  They’ve also led to other decor ideas for me like centerpieces based off of my new brooch bouquet (that will be here Friday!).  I also love candy and feathers.  We were going to use feathers in our larger wedding and would consider candy but it just doesn’t fit in anymore.  And I’ve always loved chandeliers and I guess not so much for the wedding but it’s inspired me to try to find some amazing chandelier to put in our dining room when we finally buy a house (sometime in the new couple of years).

Well our centerpieces aren’t going to be too detailed (honestly I just don’t have enough patience with everything left to be planned to do too much with those Smile).  We’re probably doing simple light pink roses with white vases to keep that part simple and make my bouquet stand out more on our table Smile but we need to do some trial runs.  But we are doing brooches instead of boutonnieres and corsages.  Here’s my bouquet that we’re kind of basing all of that off of.

That would be a good idea! I was thinking also of maybe adding something onto the front of the cupcake tree.  I think six would definitely be enough to put on the front of that to add a little sparkle.  Right now I’m thinking we’ll do our detailed small cutting cake on top with small flowers on top of each cupcake so some sparkle would make it girlier (which I love).

Oh and with girly stuff around the house, my fiance knows how girly I am and my fascination with chandeliers in restaurants.  He’s told me as long as when we get a house he can have one room that isn’t too girly and in others I don’t go to the point of tacky that it won’t bother him.  Our current bedding is a quilt from Nautica that his mom bought me for my birthday.  It has a lot of pink in it but the concession was that it also has lime green so he’s good with the pink if he can have lime green.

I love the idea of engraving the wedding rings. This is a great way to personalize your rings. One may be bit confused while selecting the ideal wording to engrave. But I think it is always better to select a simple and meaningful wording. Here are some engraving ideas to get you started:

-brief wedding vows

-something romantic or personal

-wedding date

-bride’s name in groom’s ring and groom’s name in bride’s ring and so on.

Thank you! I got it today! Here is the thread with the pictures:

My Brooch Bouquet is here!

And I love engraved rings too! We’re doing “I’m Yours” since it’s our song.
