I don’t have any opinions on instagram since I don’t really use it, but maybe put a polaroid camera or something around for the non-social media savvy individuals.

In terms of the setup, I think it’s best to just keep it at one spot as to not confuse your guests.

– Sounds great. I would keep a disposable camera out for people who don’t want to use their phones (or can’t). That way it’s still low cost, and you can get them on a CD and upload them to a computer if you want.

– Keep it in one place. The cocktail area is my vote since that means people can escape from the main reception area for a bit with a sort of “thing to do”.

Do you have an iPad? There’s a couple of great free/cheap apps you can use for photo booths and all you need is an iPad and a  tripod/stand to put it on. I dont know that taking selfies with their own phones would get the same effect or attention as some thing more fixed.

So you would have to find someone to take your picture? Or do a selfie? I wouldn’t use it in that case. The photo booths are fun because you can goof around and get a print out to take home. Taking selfies really isn’t my thing.
