We are planning on having an instant camera guestbook at our wedding (i.e. guests will snap a “selfie” and stick it beside their hand written message).
Just wondering if anyone has any reviews, tips & tricks, personal accounts of using any of these cameras (from what i understand they have come a long way since the old Polaroid cameras).
Looking forward to hearing from you all 🙂

I just posted on another thread asking about this same thing, I’ll copy/paste my reply :
We aren’t doing a polaroid guest book, but we are doing a DIY photo booth.
We are using the fujifilm instax mini 7s, it prints credit card sized photos, and there are even little albums you can purchase on ebay to keep the photos in.
I only tried mine a few times, the photos that came out were just like you’d expect.. polaroid quailty.. looked they like they were straight out of the 70s! I think I had some of the settings wrong though, as I’ve read lots of reviews on it and people claim that the camera takes really good photos.
The camera itself costs around $50-$60 dollars and runs on batteries, the film is just under $14 for a twin pack [20 photos].

Vsmart: Polaroid still is at the top of their game as far as instant cameras go. I didn’t do this personally since we eloped, but we had planned on it. I was going to go the Polaroid route, too. They just can’t be beat!

I can’t wait to see how this turns out on your big day. 🙂
