I just purchased my dress (above) from Davids Bridal yesterday and I am already regreting it! I have tried on probably close to 200 dresses and have not really loved any of them and I feel like I might have caved just to stop trying on dresses! There was two dresses there that I really liked and I don’t know if I picked the right one! I never wanted anything tight (aka mermaid or trumpet) and thats what I ended up buying. I always wanted a very soft flowy A-line with a natural waist. What are your thoughs?

I think theyre both pretty, but I can’t lie, I like the second dress better on you.

@sverstrepen: Both dresses are super pretty on you – in fact, the first dress really flatters your figure, I think. Does David’s Bridal have a return policy? Do you like the second one better? Because it’s pretty, too – it has a completely different feel.

I think DB will allow you to trade dresses as long as it’s equal or greater value!

They are both very nice, but I kindof like the one you bought better. I think your figure looks amazing and I really like the scallop edge at the bottom. It will feel more flowy if you wear a long veil with it. But, the most important thing is that YOU love it and feel beautiful in it. I wonder if David’s Bridal will let you trade? especially since you just purchased it yesterday.

I honestly think that YOU look more comfortable in the second dress. They’re both beautiful and you look great in both. The important thing is that you feel comfortable.
What type of feel will your wedding have? Is it more formal or slightly more relaxed? The first dress feels more formal to me while the second is more flowing/whimsical.

You’ve tried on too many dresses!!! As human’s when we have too many choices we are automatically less happy with each choice. So I don’t think it’s that you picked the wrong dress. You just looked at too many. But that’s okay. Give it some time and I’m sure you’ll remember all the amazing things about your dress.

Both dresses are pretty but I think that the second one flatters your figure more. I love how flowy it is.

They’re both beautiful and you look great. I slightly prefer the second one. If you prefer that one, call them up and have them switch the order.

I really like the second one best on you. But you look beautiful in both! I agree with the others who suggest asking DB about an exchange.

The second one does nothing for your figure. You ended up with the right dress in my opinion.

Being that I am not a huge fan of mermaid or trumpet style gowns I definitely prefer the second one, and its the one that fits what you’re looking for the most.
I didn’t have to try on 200+ gowns, but I did try on around 100 (high 90s). So, I know and understand the frustration of not finding a gown that you just love, and being to the point where you just want to stop looking.
How I knew I found the dress was that I was at peace; I felt like myself, I felt comfortable, and I was at peace with the decision. It sounds like to me, you don’t have any of those feelings (correct me if I’m wrong), and that makes me think you might not have picked the right dress. I’m pretty sure David’s Bridal lets you return as long as all tags are in place, so why don’t you go and switch to the ballgown.

@Rush1986: agreed! I think the first one is very flattering on you…but if you aren’t going to be comfortable in it then it’s not worth it. I am here to tell you that you look amazing in it, but if you don’t think you do then go with the second one.
