I just got my *gorgeous* invitations today–they were printed in Malaysia, letterpress, etc.
I decided against inner envelopes, and am now (sorta) regretting my decision. I can’t add them now (the outer envelopes are printed w/ return address, and couldn’t hold another envelope inside them).
I was planning to do a "belly band" around all cards (invitations, rsvp+envelope, map card) with the invitees names printed on it. Good idea? Would you bother?

I don’t think it’s necessary, but belly bands are nice. Especially if your invitations are panel cards with nothing holding them together, the belly band provides a nice little structure to keep them all together. If you have the time and energy, I would say go for it!

I’m not doing inner envelopes. But if you plan to do a belly band here’s an option from Jenimacs Knottie Bio I came across a long time ago:
She put the guest name on the belly band 🙂
