I think it’s great! I am walking down the aisle to a disney song played on the piano…I say, do whatever makes you happy! πŸ™‚

I vote: awesome.

Just be totally prepared when guests start singing along cheesily… If I heard “can you feel the love tonight” I’d pretty much HAVE to belt it out, regardless of situation.

As long as you’re prepared for this, then you should totally do it πŸ™‚

I love it! “So this is love” is an all time favourite of mine.

My only caution: “When you wish upon a star” has become a sort of generic Disney tune, not really a love song. People of my generation (in our 40s) remember it from the old Disney TV show, and it’s still played at the start of a Disney movie. Fine for the reception. I would avoid it for the ceremony intro.

I find it pretty cheesy, but cheesy isn’t always bad! I would rather have music that means something to the bride and groom than something super generic.

I don’t think it’s cheesy at all.

Then again, our first dance is to You’ve Got A Friend In Me from Toy Story, and we’re including some Pixar figures into the decor.

So i’m a kindered spirit lol

I think it’s awesome! I wish we would have encorporated Disney into our wedding!

I totally love the idea of playing Disney songs for the wedding, and having a pianist play them for you sounds awesome!

Not cheesey! I told Alex I wanted to walk down the aisle to can you feel the love tonight, to which he responded “no! A whole new woooorld!”

@GonnaBeMrsC:

Ha! Good for you that you found a guy who likes Disney songs. I say play them all, who cares what people think it’s your wedding day!

I did it! It was awesome and so romantic, we also went to Disney World for our honeymoon. WE used many of the same ones as you, and I included Bella Notte from Lady and the Tramp.
