Ok so on my contract for my reception hall it reads –
“Liability insurance shall be provided by the requesting organization and evidence of same. Insurance shall be provided in the minimum limits of $1,000,000. Combined single limit for liability and property liability combined. This includes any liability coverage necessitated, created and or ocurring with the serving of food or beverage during the event.”
Then under Caterers it says –
“Caterers must provide a copy of their certificate of liability, all applicable occupational taxes, local and state alcohol beverage licenses, local and state health permits and any other certification required.
Your caterer and your bartending service must be one in the same. Your caterer must hold a valid Glynn County off site pouring license.
My question is, can I take out a $1 millon insurance liability policy myself if the caterer does not have one of that amount? I am in a predicament finding one that is affordable and not already booked…. the wedding is in 5 mths! Also where it says the caterer must show a copy of their certificate of liability – is that any different from me getting the policy?
And how much is an off site pouring license?
THIS IS TOO MUCH TO DIGEST…..
