(Closed) Insurance on e-ring seems outrageous…HELP!

I’ll put another vote in for perfect circle. (jeweler’s mutual) My ring is fully insured for over 20k and I pay less than $250 a year.

We recently added the engagement ring to our homeowner’s policy… the cost comes out to about $4 a year per $100 in value (almost $600/year premium) – I think we’re getting screwed!

from ontario. my rign was appraise at ~$5K, and I pay about $200/year to have it added to my insurance. perhaps it’s because your ring is so expensive? 😛

Wow these insurance prices seem high.  I spoke with USAA and it was much less, i did not however get into specifics with them.
