Has anyone ever been to “Intamacy” on Michigan Ave for a bra fitting? I see the commercial on everyday during the Today show and am itching to go…I will definitely buy a new bra/contraption for my wedding dress but am afraid they will pressure me into spending $400 in new bras.

I haven’t been there either…but I’m interested too. I ALWAYS see those commercials. LOL

You don’t have to go someplace to get measured for the proper fit. Here is a link that shows you how to measure yourself.

I haven’t been to the Chicago location, but I have been to the Atlanta one. It was fabulous. They were really helpful and I never had prettier bras that fit this well. Two thumbs up from me!

Thanks for the input! I’m a 36D (or larger, sometimes) so it’s really hard for me to find one that fits correctly. Are the prices pretty close to VS or more expensive? I think I’m definitely going to check it out!
Thanks, Miss Scarlet!

I went a couple of years ago, and also took my mom for Mother’s Day a few years ago. I think the service was great. They were really patient about finding the right bra and great about giving you tips on what kind of bras to look for. I didn’t feel pressured to buy tons of bras. I bought an everyday bra and a workout bra. The prices vary, but are well worth it. Honestly, I haven’t shopped VS since I was in h.s. as I think their quality does not match the price tag. You can be upfront and tell them that you just want to get X number of bras or only want to spend $xxx that day.

I have never been to the specific place you asked about but I just want to tell you that getting properly fitted by a professional for a bra is a really good idea.
For years I thought I was a 40DDD and HATED my bras. Always felt uncomfortable, took that thing off the minute I was in the door and had horrible grooves in my shoulders. I went and got properly measured and fitted and turns out I am 38GG. I buy the correct size now and have never been happier. Believe it or not but my clothes actually hang better on my body and I am much more confident about my breasts.
Dont let them pressure you into buying more than you want either… herroom.com is a great site and now that I know my size I buy all my bras there, they have a great return policy.
Sorry, a little off topic but it makes a difference…

Just wanted to follow through (and realized I spelled Intimacy wrong!).
I went today on my lunch break and it was crazy! I always thought I was a 38D but I’m a 32G! It made all the difference. They had some bras that were $60 that I tried on but ended up getting one that was $99 (yikes) for everyday wear and an amazing sports bra (seriously…amazing) for $60. I also found an amazing strapless boustier that was great (and only $48) but was too high cut for my lower cut wedding dress. I never felt pressured to buy, and Angel who helped me was understanding with my budget.
Anyway…I would recommend it, definitely for girls with larger chests!
