– I had a racoon tame enough to call it a pet

– I cannot use treadmills for anything other than walking (I have to hold on to the side due to lack of balance)

– I was originally left handed but the first school I went to made me be right handed πŸ™

I’ve never broken a bone in my body. Ever. In all my 30 years, not one.

*knocks wood* Now watch me break something soon, now that I’ve said it Undecided

@Wonderwoman217: I always feel that way. I have never broken anything but each time I say it I feel as if I am jinxing myself haha

@Whimsical.Sprite: Oh my god, that was going to be my thing!! I don’t have a sense of smell either! I just met my first non-smell person two weeks ago, and it blew my mind. Holy crap!!

@Whimsical.Sprite: oh no! I am so scared of breaking anything it looks and sounds way too painful… 49 hours of labor made me cry I don’t want to deal with a broken anything for as long as it would take to heal Yell

1. I make popcorn just to eat the seeds. The popcorn itself is good, don’t get me wrong, but the leftover kernels at the bottom of the bowl? Pure deliciousness.

2. I can move both my eyes in different directions like a lizard.

3. I had a “flesh-eating disease” two summers ago. (It’s not *technically* considered a flesh eating disease, but it ate up my skin. So that’s what I’m calling it.) That shit was NASTY. I had no skin at all on my left foot, a part of my cheek, and from my wrist to my elbow on my right arm. You bees better be thankful my old cell phone broke, or I’d be posting the pictures here. Tongue out

I’ve never lost a game of rock paper scissors in my life. I don’t know what it is, but it really freaks people out. I’ve even played when both of us were blindfolded and someone ref’d and I still always won.

Why can’t I have this talent in oh say, picking lottery numbers??

-I had pet squirrels as a kid (rescued babies and raised them as pets!)

-I had a bad car accident where I lost my spleen, broke all my ribs, punctured both lungs, broke my wrist, hip, coccyx, and pelvis in 3 places….and had plastic surgery on my face.

-I only have half of my thyroid (Bride of Frankenstein here! LOL)

-I can make/craft just about anything

-And I can make a pretty awesome screaming monkey noise…LOL

@Wonderwoman217: Me too! Closest I’ve ever gotten was a hairline fracture in my foot when I was like 12.

  • I desperately wanted a pet skunk for a while. I’m still not opposed to it. They’re apparently very cuddly and like to steal blankets πŸ™‚
  • When I’m feeling down or just have time to myself, I always watch Memoirs of a Geisha and Cold Mountain. Bizarre but they make me feel better for some reason…

@Wonderwoman217: Me neither. No broken bones.

I do have a sense of smell, but it’s weak.

I can’t whistle.

@Whimsical.Sprite: Can you taste anything if you can’t smell? I’ve heard that many people who lose their sense of smell really can’t taste much after that. πŸ™ I hope that’s not the case for you!

My quirk is kind of the opposite of you non-smellers – I smell EVERYTHING – including paper. It’s like a tic. I don’t even realize I’m doing it most of the time, and I was shocked the first time my family pointed it out to me. The cool part is that I can usually identify smells really, really well. Maybe I’m part bloodhound.
