My wife and I were looking at all these beautiful pictures of interracial couples, and it was so inspiring! We have been married and living in Texas for the past 11 years, and some parts haven’t been too friendly towards our relationship. That’s alright though cause we’re soulmates and have three beautiful children. God bless!

Aw, you two are an older version of Fiance and I (though I’m half Asian, too). VERY attractive couple! 🙂 I bet your kids are knockouts.
I love hearing about happy, successful marriages. We’ve had a couple of comments too, but let them roll right on off your back.

We have such a diverse family. My husband is an air force brat whos from everywhere, and I’m from Cotonou, Benin in west Africa. My mom’s Christian and married my dad who grew up muslim but converted to christianity for love, which was much more taboo than a biracial relationship in west Africa. Our children are also diverse and that’s what we really enjoy our special family. Thanks for all the positive comments! It’s so nice to hear other’s storys and trials and love to see so many succeeding in their love!

I have been in an interracial relationship for the past 3 years. Since it has been going so incredibly well, he proposed on Christmas Eve and we’re getting married this year. All I can tell you is that at times people (specially elderly people) look at us kind of funny. But we’re soo incredibly happy and blessed that we don’t pay attention to any of it. I wish for you the best of luck. Love has nothing to do with color, but with the connection and love between two people.

@beninwas: I am sorry you are having to deal with bigots in this day in age. I am a Black American/Indian and my Fiance is Irish/Italian. We live up North and we have subtle racism up here but I have never cared what anyone thought to begin with. I have dated outside my race since I was in my teens and it wasnt as well known as it is now. My Fiance is in the military and could care less what anyone thinks we love each other and our bond is strong and that is all that matters.
He has a very intimidating look so it is not something we really deal with because he has no problem putting anyone in check.
BIG HUG TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GOD BLESS…..

You guys make a fantastic couple and you have beautifl children! I’m in an interracial relationship as well as I am white and my fiance is half black and half white. I live in Kansas and he lives in Illinois right now. We do get the occasional look or very rarely a rude comment when in Kansas (still very rarely though), but in Illinois (at least where he is living and where we will both be living after we get married) there doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem with that thankfully.
It’s ridiculous that anyone is bigoted like that these days, but thankfully most people are not that way.
