I had a phone interview last week with the guy I would be reporting to directly, and then a great phone interview with HR on Monday. I have an in person interview today, but I don’t know what to wear.
I’m used to legal interviews, where I would have to wear a suit, but I always feel like I look like I’m playing dress-up in a suit. It’s an administrative job, so not a legal job directly. Can I wear black dress pants with a blouse and a cardigan?

I would wear a suit to any interview, whether it was to be a Senior Vice President, or at Macy’s. It looks put together, respectful, and appropriate.

Sounds perfect! And either really nice flats or heels. You’re still pretty dressed up.

Always wear a suit. It shows you are taking the opportunity seriously. Plus, if you already have one, why risk losing the job over something as silly as what you were wearing (it happens)?

I have an interview today for an in-bank position and am still wearing a suit 🙂

Ugh. Okay. 🙁
I have giant breasts, and even with a tailored suit coat, I still feel like I’m drowning in fabric. It’s hard to feel comfortable. I don’t want to look inappropriate though.
