We are having a very small outdoor wedding, 16 guests, just immediate family with dinner at a favourite restaurant afterwards and then a reception that all the extended family and friends are invited to.
We already have the readings and such, there’s no bridal party, and I have no idea how to organise this. I’d like to still walk down the aisle with dad, but how do i time things where there’s really no where to walk into/out of with it being outdoors? Any advice on how to organise what will probably be a 15 minute ceremony?

This is exactly what mine will be like! (But mine’s in a church)
I’m just planning on music starts, doors open, my dad and I walk down the aisle.
I’ve seen people arrive in a car or limo just to get out and head down the aisle with their father. Can you do that since there is no where else to come from? It’s like the *arrival* of the bride.

We had approx 20 people at our wedding, and no bridal party (which was the BEST decision). Are you providing chairs for your guests? if so, set them up a few on each side and create an aisle to walk down. Even if you are not providing chairs you can do an aisle runner of sorts and people will typically understand to stand on either side of it, creating an aisle. You could line the sides of the aisle with flower petals, rocks, a small fence type thing wiith a rope. You have tons of options! If you’re worried about Fiance seeing you before you can ‘walk down the aisle’ arrive in a vehicle and stay in it until you are ready to go. Seeing a picture of your location would help as well!

My sister just did this on Sunday. Dad walked her in, our brother performed a reading during the ceremony and our sister and I signed as witnesses (BIL had no family in attendance – long story).
My sister and dad just exited the house together and walked to her now Darling Husband, dad then joined the family to watch.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I like the idea of just showing up in the car with Dad :). We don’t have a location picked but there will be chairs and a little archway, maybe something besides the chairs marking the aisle. Not sure yet.
I did find this picture online that I plan on recreating so it’ll be clear where everything is happening.
