parents are divorced – father remarried – father not around much – father wants to be introduced with ex wife and new wife – i don’t think this is appropriate – any official wedding ediquiter ule to follow. Parents not amicable mother definately against this

So that’s pretty easy- its a no go. He can be introduced with his new wife. You’re mother will be introduced with whoever she’d like. That’s what I’d do. To have your ex on one arm and your current wife on the other sounds… atypical to me.

I ditto what @jennifer_espos said. If your father is remarried, then it makes sense for him to be introduced with his current wife, but he definitely shouldn’t also have his ex-wife with him. I can’t imagine his current wife would be okay with that! Have him introduced with his wife, and have your mother introduced either alone (assuming she’s not married/dating someone) or with whoever she wants!

I’ve heard mother of the bride “name” accompanied by her husband “name” before. We just decided to not announce parents to avoid this.
