Hi everyone so happy i found this board. This is both my fiance and my second marriage. I got divoreced in mid november, 2006 I was married 6 years. I have two children from him. One day in april of 2006 he told me i love you but not in love with you. A month or so later I found out he was having a affair with a co-worker. After doubting that I would ever find someone that would really want or love me. I dated a few men. I met my now fiance Jerry. Jerry and I had a long distance relationship for a few years. He is also divorced. His ex cheated on him and basically divorced him cause invitro did not work and she wanted to have a baby. He is a beautiful man he loves my kids and treats us so well. My kids see him more as a father then their own. We are getting married November 30 ,2013. We are getting married at a winery. We are trying to keep in small. We are having our parents as our witnesses. I also think I’m gonna have my kids wal me down the isle. I am thinking of not having a veil. What do you think? Also what could i do as far asw head piece or jewerly?

I think a cute blingy headband would be super cute.

TO dragonfly113013: first off WELCOME to “the Hive” (and of course to the ENCORE BOARD as well)
CONGRATULATIONS on finding a wonderful man, and LOVE again… it really is a magnificent feeling !!
Your plans sound fantastic, and your chosen dress beautiful (I am a big fan of incorporating colour for an Encore Bride’s Wedding Dress)
Etiquette has changed a lot in recent years when it comes to Encore Brides (society now agrees that everyone deserves a second chance)… so the “ideas” that once prevailed in regards to what was and wasn’t appropriate has been narrowed drastically… so there are many more options in regards to attire (including veils if that is what you want to go with)
Possible ideas… Veil – Fancy Hat – Hat with Birdcage Veil – a Fascinator – Tiara – Headband – Flowers – Jewellery – Feathers
I’d GOOGLE – Wedding Headpieces – and using GOOGLE IMAGES take a look at literally the 100s of possibilities… truly something for everyone !!
Hope this helps,
