Finally! At last! It’s happened!
The bridesmaid dress search is over. And needless to say, I’m relieved. I’ve been agonizing over these dresses far longer than I did over my own. While many say it’s easier to spend other people’s money than their own, I feel differently. I was so worried over choosing something too expensive or not in their taste when they’d be paying for it. I’ve been looking for the right Bridesmaid or Best Man dress for 5 months. I’ve looked all over bridal boutiques, the internet, Macy’s, and Dillard’s. But guess where we found The One? David’s Bridal. I never told the tale of my horror experience shopping for my dress at David’s, but just know it was the first place my Mom and I looked, and it was an AWFUL experience. This time was somewhat different. And I liked the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses they offered better than their bridal selections.
My girls tried on a ton of dresses. We narrowed it down easily to 2. I thought the first one looked better on them, but really liked both. They decided they liked the second one better. So we went with it! It’s beautiful, and it slightly matches my dress!
The runner-up:
I thought this one was more what I would want for myself, and something they could easily cut the bottom off to wear again.
The Winner:
This has a beautiful sweetheart neckline and rouching on the top that matches my dress’s top. I think this one may have a harder time cutting to make short, but they loved it and I did too so it’s my bridesmaid dress (in apple red though)!
