Welcome! I think it speaks volumes about your relationship that your SO is so supportive of you and your career! Sounds like the relationship is strong and solid enough to survive a short term hold on immediate plans! Good luck!

@RainbowHope:  Welcome to the Bee ๐Ÿ™‚

LDR are hard that is for sure.. I started off being in one and then was successful in relocating to where he was, however after a year of being blisfully happy together Fiance was laid off and has had to move across the country for a job ๐Ÿ™ so we are now once again in a LDR and it feels even harder this time around after living together!..

But it is great that your SO is behind your decision to go after your career and at least being only that far apart you will still be able to see each other more often than having to fly anywhere…Skype/phone and email ALL become your very best friends but I have always said that we have learned way more about each other by being in a LDR than if we had been in the same place.

Good Luck with the job ๐Ÿ™‚

How much would you regret it if you gave up he opportunity if you didn’t go? Sounds like quite a bit. No kids yet, this is your chance to go for it especially since he is behind you 100%.

As they say, “Nothing easy is worth doing.” Good luck!
